Ryan Kienstra

Ryan Kienstra is a Senior Software Engineer at WP Engine, where since April 2020, Ryan has been the main developer for the Genesis Custom Blocks plugin, utilizing React and PHP. Previously, Ryan served as a Senior WordPress Engineer at XWP from April 2015 to April 2020, contributing to the AMP Plugin for WordPress and receiving the Google Open Source Peer Bonus Award for this work. Ryan Kienstra holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California (2009-2013) and a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from DePaul University (2005-2007).
