Kathryn Clay

Kathryn Clay is an expert in energy and climate policy, currently serving as the Lead Analyst for Energy and Climate at Washington Post Intelligence and as a Faculty Member at the University of Michigan. From 2018 to 2023, they held the position of President at the International Liquid Terminals Association, guiding the strategic direction of the only trade association focused on the liquid terminal industry. Kathryn's extensive background includes roles such as Vice President of Policy at the American Gas Association and Executive Director of the Drive Natural Gas Initiative, where they championed the advancement of natural gas and energy policies. They earned a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and hold a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Kalamazoo College.
