The World Petroleum Council of Canada, now WPC Energy Canada, renewed its focus and mission following the 24th WPC Congress held in Calgary in September 2023. Calgary was chosen as the host city for the 2023 Congress by international WPC Council members on June 23, 2019. Following this successful event, the World Petroleum Council of Canada rebranded to WPC Energy Canada, aligning with its international parent organization, WPC Energy.

Moreover, the WPC Energy Future Leaders program engages young professionals in the energy industry through collaborative global forums, complementing the broader membership of WPC Energy Canada.
