Sakura M.

Sakura M. is an experienced project coordinator and environmental specialist with a solid background in promoting female empowerment in STEM and sustainability initiatives. Currently engaged at wpd AG as a Project Coordinator/SE since October 2021, Sakura also serves as a Japan Delegate for G(irls)20, contributing to policy recommendations aimed at enhancing educational platforms for women in STEM. Previous roles include environmental research at Tokyo Electric Power Company and sustainability efforts with the City of Chula Vista. Sakura's early career involved internships focusing on diversity in education and marine biology research, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from The University of Tokyo.
