Gary Crane

Gary Crane has extensive experience in data protection and technology compliance, currently serving as Deputy Global Data Protection Officer at WPP. Previously, Gary held the position of Data Protection Officer for EMEA at Wunderman Thompson and Chief Technical Compliance Officer at Young & Rubicam Group. In addition to these roles, Gary was the EMEA Technology Director at Burson-Marsteller and Technical Development & Architecture Manager at PA Consulting. Gary completed a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Studies at the University of Portsmouth from 1989 to 1993 and obtained a Certificate in Management from The Open University in 1999-2000.
