Zhaoru Chen

Zhaoru (April) Chen is a Regional Technical Design Analyst at WPP since June 2021, previously serving as a Senior Business Consultant at EY from August 2018 to February 2021. In this role, Zhaoru led Internal Audit engagements, conducted process reviews, and analyzed internal controls using data analytics. Responsibilities included composing audit reports, communicating findings to senior management, and managing collaborations between international teams. Prior experience as a Staff Business Consultant involved analyzing company reports, assessing compliance, creating process flow diagrams, and reviewing technical infrastructures across various industries. Zhaoru holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Process Management, and Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
