Frances Peyton

Frances Peyton is an experienced meteorologist currently working at WPTV since January 2024. Prior to this role, Frances served as the Weekend Evening Meteorologist at 13News Now (WVEC) from May 2022 to December 2023 and worked at WTVR-TV as a meteorologist from April 2019 to May 2022. Frances has also held positions at various other media outlets, including WHSV-TV as a Morning and Noon Meteorologist and WVVA as a Weekend Meteorologist and Weekday Reporter. In addition to meteorology, Frances co-founded Peyton LLC, which provided rental services for scar and laser hair removal machines to medical offices. Frances began the career journey in client-facing roles at Arthritis & Sports Orthopaedics & Physical Therapy & Wellness and WashingtonFirst Bank. Frances holds a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology from Virginia Tech and a high school diploma from Flint Hill School.
