James Bailey is an accomplished photojournalist with extensive experience in producing various news formats, including VOs, VOSOTs, and natural sound packages. Currently employed at WPTV since August 2022, Bailey previously worked at WPEC-TV CBS12 News and Charter Communications, where the production of multiple daily stories involved live shots using Dejero and satellite technology. From September 2014 to May 2018, Bailey served as General Manager of Cardinal Television at St. John Fisher College, after which internships at 13WHAM-TV and WROC-TV provided valuable newsroom experience. Bailey holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications from St. John Fisher University.
