Janet Klein is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community Resilience Director at WRA, Inc., Janet leads efforts to enhance climate adaptation initiatives in California, focusing on wildfire risk reduction and coastal adaptation. Previously, Janet held senior leadership roles at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, overseeing workforce development and volunteerism, and managing significant departmental budgets and staff. Janet co-founded the One Tam Partnership and developed the Young Rising Environmental Leaders Program. Earlier experience includes roles as Natural Resource Program Manager at Marin Municipal Water District and as a Plant Ecologist at HT Harvey and Associates. Janet holds a Master's degree in Land Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University.
