Nick Brinton has a diverse background in fisheries biology and project management. Nick began their career as a Fisheries Technician with the U.S. Forest Service in 2012, where they conducted electrofishing and seine surveys for population analysis and habitat assessment. Nick then joined California Trout as a Fisheries Technician, working on the removal of invasive species to enhance conditions for Lahontan cutthroat trout. In 2013, Nick became a Project Biologist at QK (formerly Quad Knopf), where they monitored and excavated burrows for various protected species during the construction of a power line. Since 2014, Nick has been working at WRA, Inc. as an Associate Fisheries Biologist, specializing in managing and implementing fisheries projects, consulting on permits, and conducting assessments for various fish species and special-status taxa.
Nick Brinton pursued their education journey, starting at California State University-San Bernardino from 2000 to 2004. Here, they completed a Bachelor's degree in History.
Later, from 2009 to 2012, Nick attended the University of California, Davis, where they obtained another Bachelor's degree. This time, their field of study was Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology.
