Armstrong Rick

Armstrong Rick has extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving as a News Medical Producer/Photographer at WRAL-TV since July 2000. In this role, Armstrong collaborates with the medical community to report on innovative medical technologies, health trends, and personal health stories, handling all aspects of story production. Prior to this, Armstrong worked as an On Air Reporter/Photographer from 2000 to 2005, and as a news photographer from 1982 to 1990. Additionally, since January 1998, Armstrong has been the Video and Broadcast Ministry Director at Faith Baptist Church, responsible for recording and broadcasting worship services. Armstrong also contributes as an Enterprise MultiMedia Journalist for Capitol Broadcasting Company, producing consumer-oriented stories for WRAL TV's "Morning Originals." Armstrong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities from North Carolina State University.
