Robert John Wilson

Robert John Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert John started their career at LINKIT as a Senior Consultant Technical Lead in 1999. Robert John then founded and served as the Director of Cutcables, where they developed a WIFI Portal product and transformed a legacy airport retail system. Later, they worked as an Architect and PHP Developer for the U.S. Department of Education and a Telco Messaging MVP at Telfort.

In 2005, they joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Release Manager for Basel2/SOX Risk & Compliance software, where they managed the master data management portal and established the CD/CI automated build process. Robert John also worked as the Head of (Retail) Software Development at Tracks take off multitronics.

In 2007, they joined IBM as a Senior Consultant, responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery across multiple banking and back-office applications. Robert John coordinated third-level and developer support for major outages and addressed compliance and critical issues.

In 2011, they volunteered at TunesForChange.org as a Solution Architect, helping to develop a cloud-based music charity platform that donated over 250k AUD to international charities.
