Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and training. Currently serving as a Contracted Senior Training Specialist for Wrap Technologies, Inc. since October 2019, Kevin also has a longstanding role as an Instructor for Cape Fear Community College, focusing on the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) curriculum since August 2000. Prior to these positions, Kevin enjoyed a distinguished career at the Wilmington Police Department from February 1991 to March 2020, reaching the rank of Captain and holding various roles including Firearms Instructor, S.W.A.T. Commander, Watch Commander, K-9 Unit Sergeant, and Investigator. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Shaw University, which was completed between 1996 and 1999.
