Marc Stephens

Marc Stephens is a Trustee at WRAP, and has extensive experience in the financial sector. Marc previously worked as a senior financial adviser at the Bank of England from January 1999 to December 2001, where they were responsible for managing the Monetary Policy Committee's international forecast. Marc also worked as an economist at The World Bank from July 1994 to December 1998, where they were heavily involved in the Heavily Indebted Country Initiative. Prior to that, they worked as a senior researcher at Al Haq from July 1988 to July 1991.

Marc Stephens has a Master’s Degree in Climate Change from Birkbeck, University of London, a PhD in Economics from New York University, and is a Barrister in Law from the Council for Legal Education.
