Rachel Devine

Rachel Devine is an internationally recognized specialist in food waste measurement, reduction, and prevention, currently serving as the Lead Analyst for Food Research at WRAP. With a strong background in project management and strategic decision-making, Rachel has line managed a team and contributed to significant research influencing household and supply chain food waste strategies. Prior to this, Rachel completed a PhD focused on lake catchments, geology, and climate change at Royal Holloway, University of London, and gained valuable experience in multiple research and analytical roles, including a postdoctoral position at Ghent University. Rachel's expertise has also led to published academic work and advising on food waste policy for various governmental entities.
