Ruth Hunter

Ruth Hunter is an experienced professional in waste management and environmental sustainability, currently serving as a Local Authority Technical Consultant at WRAP since January 2022. Prior to this role, Ruth held various positions including Head of Public Realm and Environmental Sustainability at Wyre Council from March 2020 to January 2022, and Waste and Recycling Manager at the same council from March 2012 to March 2020. Ruth's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at both Hyder Consulting and AEA in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Waste Management from the University of Central Lancashire, a Distinction in Management Studies from Lancaster University, and a BSc (Hons) in Geography from The University of Huddersfield.
