Jim Dear

Jim Dear is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health services management, currently serving as the Director of Health Services for Downtown & Point Douglas at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority since May 2005. Over the years, Jim has held various leadership roles, including Community Team Manager for Primary Health Care, overseeing multiple health teams focusing on care integration and services such as healthy aging. Jim also contributes to academia as an instructor in leadership concepts at Red River College, alongside previous instructional roles at the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba. Jim's educational background includes a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Manitoba, as well as various leadership and health systems management qualifications.
