Joanne Warkentin

Joanne Warkentin is currently the Regional Director of Mental Health and Addictions at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. They have held various significant positions, including Interim Mental Health Regional Program Director and Director of Strategic Housing Initiatives, focusing on improving health outcomes and access to services for vulnerable populations. Joanne has also served as Communications Director/Project Manager to the Minister of Health for the Province of Manitoba and held roles within the Government of Manitoba as a Senior Policy Advisor. They earned a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed additional education in Health System Leadership and Human Resource Management.
