Sarah Schaefer

Sarah Schaefer is an experienced professional in corporate sustainability and stakeholder management, currently serving as the ESG Director at Wrightbus since April 2025. Prior to this role, Sarah held the position of Vice President of Sustainability for Europe and APAC&MEA at Electrolux from August 2021 to April 2025. Sarah's background includes key roles at Unilever as a Sustainable Sourcing Consultant and Global Policy and Advocacy Director, and at MARS Chocolate Limited as the Global Sustainability Director and Global Corporate Sustainability Director. Sarah's expertise extends to media relations and policy advice from previous positions as a Special Adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Sarah earned an MPhil in European Politics and Society from the University of Oxford between 1993 and 1995.
