Chris Nickerson is a highly skilled engineering professional with experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Writer since March 2024, Chris previously worked at Mercury Systems as a Software Engineer and at Raytheon Technologies as a Software Test Engineer, where notable achievements included leading the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense team in HIL simulation and system integration testing, as well as creating automation scripts for radar software evaluation. Chris also coordinated testing efforts with the Missile Defense Agency and Lockheed Martin and played a key role in onboarding nearly 100 new engineers. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where Chris collaborated on Virginia-class nuclear submarine projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
