Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor is an experienced operations and program manager with a robust background in product management and engineering operations. Currently serving as Lead Product Operations and Program Manager at WRITER since November 2025, Mike previously held key positions including Head of Operations at Deterrence and Head of Product and Engineering Operations at Benchling, where significant improvements in Agile adoption, planning cycles, and product velocity were achieved. With experience at Blend, Optymyze, JPMorganChase, and Philadelphia Energy Solutions, Mike has consistently driven operational efficiencies and compliance in diverse environments. A former Team Leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Mike combines military leadership skills with extensive industry expertise in engineering and operations management, backed by a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
