Violet Kim has extensive experience in recruiting, most recently serving as a Writer since August 2023. Currently a Board Member at The Shine Community since February 2020, previous roles include recruiting positions at Ramp, Teachers Pay Teachers, and Glooko. Violet has a noteworthy background at Facebook as a Senior Manager in International Recruiting and at Google as a Lead Recruiter, progressing through two promotions. Earlier career experience includes teaching math in the NYC Department of Education. Violet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Pace University.
