Elsa Bermudez has a diverse work experience. Elsa started their career as a Tutor at Bristol Community College in 2012. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as a Blog Writer at Blogmutt. In 2014, they held multiple roles including being a Student Events Assistant at The New School, an Editorial Intern at H.O.W. Journal, and a Script Writer for the web series "Trafico - An American Drama." In the same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at The New School and as a Head Instructor and Curriculum Developer at Writopia Lab. In 2015, Elsa was an Editorial Assistant at H.O.W. Journal. Elsa later joined The Help Machine as a Staff Writer in 2017. Overall, Elsa has experience in writing, teaching, research, and administrative work.

Elsa Bermudez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy/Writing from Providence College, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Elsa then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing, Fiction from The New School, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Elsa obtained a certification in High School English from the Massachusetts Board of Education in May 2011.
