Tom Simmermaker

Tom Simmermaker is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in writing instruction and customer success. Currently serving as a Writing Instructor at Writopia Lab and a Teaching Artist at Inner-City Arts, Tom also has experience in customer success management from MaestroQA and customer support roles at Intercom. Prior positions include various instructional and support roles, such as a Teaching Artist at Emerald City Theatre and a Rhodes College Writing Fellow. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from Rhodes College and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Chicago's Graham School in a poetry workshop.
