Alexander Lodermeyer

Electroacoustic Design Engineer

Alexander Lodermeyer is an experienced electroacoustic design engineer currently working at WSAudiology since April 2023, specializing in the R&D of in-the-ear hearing aids. Prior to this role, Lodermeyer was an audio/acoustic researcher at Fraunhofer IIS from January 2021 to March 2023, focusing on acoustic simulations for smart audio devices and conducting scientific investigations of room acoustics. Lodermeyer spent over six years at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, initially as a postdoctoral researcher in aeroacoustics and vibroacoustics, followed by a position as a scientific assistant during doctoral studies. Lodermeyer holds a Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
