Patrick Lau

Patrick Lau began their work experience in 1992 as an Associate Engineer in Component Engineering at Thomson Consumer Electronic. Patrick performed technological analysis on components, liaised with manufacturing plants on major component issues, and followed up with suppliers for issue resolution. Patrick then became a Section Head for Component Engineering, leading a team in performing technological analysis and failure analysis, as well as scheduling supplier audits. In 1999, they became a Sourcing Officer at Thomson Multimedia Asia, responsible for sourcing components globally and formulating sourcing strategies. From 2001 to 2004, Patrick worked at Siemens Medical Instruments Pte Ltd as a Senior Engineer and Section Manager in Supplier Management, managing a team and improving material or component quality. Following this, they held positions at Siemens Audiology Solution and Sivantos Pte Ltd as a Head and Global Head of Supplier Quality Management, respectively. Currently, Patrick is the Global Head of Supplier Quality Management at WSAudiology since 2019.

Patrick Lau attended Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1987 to 1990. Patrick then went on to the National University of Singapore, where they obtained a BTech degree in Electronic Engineering.
