Matthew Bourque has a strong background in fire protection engineering, having worked in various roles such as Project Engineer at Babcock Power, Code Consultant/Fire Protection Engineer at R.W. Sullivan Engineering, and currently as Director of Fire Protection & Construction Operations at WS Development. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Matthew is experienced in reviewing construction plans, conducting site surveys, producing code compliance reports, and collaborating with architects, property managers, and property owners to ensure fire protection and life safety compliance in buildings. Matthew also has experience in performing special inspections for smoke control systems in high-rise buildings.
