WSA
Nathan T serves as an Ambassador for WSA and a Cohort Innovator at Youth Climate Lab since October and July 2023, respectively. Additionally, Nathan is a Provincial Advisory Board Member for Community Living Ontario, active in the Active Transport and Transit Research team at the University of Toronto Transportation Alumni Network, and part of the Green Family Medicine team at St. Michael's Hospital. Previous experience includes a role as an Environmental Health and Safety Emissions Standards student at Toronto Metropolitan University, a Health Systems Researcher at Simon Fraser University, and a Junior Policy Analyst with the Public Health Agency of Canada. Nathan has authored two peer-reviewed journal articles and received two awards for writing at The Peak Publications Society. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Geography, and Economics from Simon Fraser University.

WSA is a global network of experts, mentors, start-ups and young entrepreneurs who promote and recognize digital applications with an impact on society. WSA was initiated in 2003 in the framework of the UN World Summit on Information Society. WSA uses the meachnism of a global UN based award to find out the best and most innovative start-ups and creative solutions to make our world a better place. Locally developed content, tackling local challenges with global relevance. WSA organizes international conferences, innovation events and workshops all over the world to share success stories and support young people from all over the world.
