WSBP is an engineering company specialising in automation and software solutions for energy systems. Founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the University of Coimbra, the company initially focused on energy efficiency and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Today, WSBP develops and integrates PPC and SCADA solutions for photovoltaic plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid power plants and electrical substations, ensuring compliance with grid operator requirements. The company has delivered projects across national and international markets, with more than 1 GW of integrated photovoltaic capacity.
