Nick Kovatch

Nick Kovatch is the Executive Producer at WSBT22, where they oversee newscasts and assist reporters and producers in delivering impactful stories. With over a decade of experience in local news across Indiana and Illinois, Nick began their career in Jacksonville, IL, before serving as an Assignment Editor and later an Assignment Manager at WSBT22. They also held roles as a News Director and Editor/Photojournalist at various media outlets, including WLDS-WEAI Radio and Fox28. Nick fosters talent in the newsroom by mentoring new reporters and producers, drawing on their extensive experience in the industry. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Sports Broadcasting from Valparaiso University.
