Alexa Rissoff

Alexa Rissoff is a senior counsel with over 10 years of experience in negotiation, litigation, and risk management. Currently, they manage civil matters at Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman LLP, specializing in copyright law, labor law, and general liability. Previously, they served as an in-house counsel and senior staff attorney at The Hartford, where they handled litigation for both individuals and commercial entities. Alexa has a Doctor of Law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where they graduated magna cum laude, and a BA from Syracuse University, where they graduated summa cum laude. Additionally, they are a tri-lead of Hartford’s Professional Women’s Network for the Northeast Community and an active member of the New York City Bar Association.
