Malith Jayasinghe

Malith Jayasinghe is a highly experienced technology leader currently serving as the Vice President of Research & AI at WSO2, where responsibilities include overseeing AI initiatives and enhancing product features. Previously, Malith held roles such as Senior Director of Platform Architecture and Director within the same organization, focusing on observability, machine learning, and platform performance. Malith has also contributed as a Director at Lanka Data Foundation and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa. Earlier career experiences include positions at ANCA CNC Machines and as a researcher at RMIT University, where innovative contributions were made to distributed computing systems. Malith holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from RMIT University, a Certificate in Leadership and Communication from Curtin University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering from Massey University.
