Jonathan Gilbert

Jonathan Gilbert is an experienced Lead Editor at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News, where responsibilities include managing a team of news editors and overseeing on-air live events through the ENG control center. Jonathan also manages Avid and Inews Database systems, hires and trains new personnel, and processes video feeds for both internal and external use, holding Part 107 and NC DOT certifications for SUA operations. Previous managerial experience includes overseeing bookkeeping and exceeding sales goals at Tavern on the Tracks and managing product flow and customer issues at Circuit City. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and New Media from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Art and Design from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology.
