Wayne Mahar

Wayne Mahar is a seasoned meteorologist with extensive experience in both broadcasting and specialized weather services. Currently serving as a Freelance/Fill In On Air meteorologist at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News since January 2022, Wayne Mahar is also the President and Owner of Precision Weather Service, a position held since January 1972, providing tailored weather solutions for a diverse range of industries. Furthermore, Wayne Mahar founded the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation in September 2007 to honor the memory of their late mother, focusing on animal welfare initiatives. Previously, Wayne was the Chief Meteorologist at CNYcentral TV stations from January 1985 to December 2021, where Wayne established Precision Weather Service as a leading meteorological consulting firm servicing clients across North America.
