Alain Trudeau

Alain Trudeau is an experienced Project Director currently working at WSP Canada within the Energy and Resource business line since January 2023. Prior to this, Alain held various roles including Project Manager at Veolia North America and Senior Consultant while self-employed, as well as Project Delivery Manager at SUEZ in North America, where Alain managed the design and build of a new waste treatment facility in Montréal. Alain's extensive background includes positions such as Carbon Area Specialist and Pre-commissioning Lead at Bechtel Mining & Metals, and Manager of Projects and Engineering at SNC-Lavalin, where responsible for sustainable capital projects in nickel plants. With a foundational career at Bechtel that spanned 16 years in major EPCM projects, Alain holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Sherbrooke and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique, Université de Montréal.
