Aliena Debelak

Aliena Debelak, PE, is a Senior Consultant at WSP since January 2022, with prior experience as a Consultant Geotechnical Engineer at Golder from March 2017 to January 2022, focusing on mine waste and geohazards. During the tenure at Golder, Aliena gained expertise in the design, construction, and management of mine waste facilities, including tailings storage and heap leach facilities. Earlier roles include Staff Geotechnical Engineer at Colorado State University, where Aliena developed a 3D finite element model for debris flow barrier analysis, and Engineering Intern at Engineering Analytics, Inc., where urban drainage systems were designed. Aliena holds a Master's of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, a Bachelor's of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
