Alison Richards is a Geochemist in the Mine Water & Environment group at WSP, with professional experience spanning multiple roles in environmental research and geoscience. Prior to WSP, Alison served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines and held internships with the American Geophysical Union and the National Weather Service. Alison's research experience includes roles at Penn State University as a Watershed Research Support Specialist and as an Undergraduate Researcher focusing on nitrate and phosphate contamination and plate tectonics. Alison holds a Master of Science in Environmental Geochemistry from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience from Penn State University.
