Andre Harvey is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in rock mechanics and project management. Beginning a career as a Chief Mine Engineer at Aurizon Mines Ltd from 1996 to 1999, Andre progressed through various roles, including Senior Mining Engineer at Cambior and Falconbridge, where technical expertise in ground control was developed. Andre contributed as a Chief Mine Engineer at IAMGOLD Corporation and served as Technical Services and Projects Director at Eldorado Gold Corporation. As a Senior Mining Engineer at Natural Resources Canada, innovation and new technology development for mining were key responsibilities. Currently, Andre works as a Principal Engineer in Rock Mechanics at WSP, overseeing various ground control projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Université Laval and a Master's degree in Rock Mechanics from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
