Andy Young

Andy Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and development within the engineering and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Major Projects Director at WSP since June 2024, Andy previously held key positions at Tetra Tech, where responsibilities included Director of Growth Strategy & Development and Director of Growth Development & Strategy from March 2020 to June 2024. Prior roles include Director of Growth Strategy & Development at WYG Group and Strategic Development Director as well as Commercial Director at RPS Consulting UK & Ireland from January 2006 to February 2020, where a focus on identifying strategic business targets and aligning organizational factions has been a hallmark of performance. Andy holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham, earned between January 1981 and January 1984.
