Dr. Avisek Chatterjee is an experienced Environmental Scientist and Project Manager currently working in the Site Assessment and Remediation team at WSP since October 2022. Prior to this, Avisek served as an Environmental Specialist at ABC Technologies, managing environmental aspects of plastic car parts manufacturing across North America and Europe from September 2021 to September 2022. Between August 2016 and August 2021, Avisek was part of the Contaminated Sites team at Golder Associates Ltd., where contributions included project proposals, field work, and report preparations for both government and private sector projects. Avisek's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo and a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental Control from Sheridan College, as well as a Master of Science in Chemistry from Visva-Bharati. Additionally, research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto involved studying electron-induced reaction dynamics of single molecules using advanced microscopy techniques.
