Benoît Latapie

Benoît Latapie is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Business Unit Director for Ground Engineering and Materials at WSP in Quebec since January 2018. In this role, Benoît has overseen substantial growth in the Canadian Ground Engineering and Materials service line, expanding the team from 400 to over 1,750 employees and increasing gross revenue from $50 million to over $300 million. Additional responsibilities at WSP have included serving as Technical Director and National Vice President. Prior to joining WSP, Benoît held various positions at Atkins from September 2007 to December 2017, rising from Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to Technical Manager in Ground Engineering. Benoît holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from ESTP - Grande école d'ingénieurs de la construction and an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
