Callie New

Callie New, AICP, currently serves as an Associate and Project Manager at Design Workshop since February 2021. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Protection Specialist for the National Parks Service, where responsibilities involved evaluating project environmental effects and ensuring compliance with NEPA and NHPA regulations. Callie also held the role of Transportation Planner at the Wasatch Front Regional Council, leading a $5B long-range transit plan and managing various projects from inception to completion. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, a Land Use Planning Assistant with the Bureau of Land Management, and an Assistant Content Editor for Urban Magazine. Callie holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Southern Oregon University, along with various international study experiences.
