Chris Grainger

Chris Grainger is an acoustic engineer and Associate Director at WSP, where they serve as the National Defence Acoustics Lead. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland and have over 14 years of experience in building and environmental acoustics. Previously, Chris co-owned a specialty coffee shop, The Tiller Coffee, for nine years. Their career includes significant roles at AECOM and WSP, where they have progressed from Graduate Acoustic Engineer to Senior Acoustic Engineer and now to Associate Director. Chris has also been an active member of the Australian Acoustical Society's QLD Committee since 2019.
