Christopher Ames

Christopher Ames is a Heritage Specialist and Principal Archaeologist at WSP and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Victoria. They previously worked as a Mapping and GIS Specialist at The Firelight Group from 2016 to 2018 and held various academic positions, including SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow and Lecturer in Anthropology at UC Berkeley. Currently, they are an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong. Christopher earned a PhD from McGill University and a Bachelor's Degree with Honours from the University of British Columbia.
