Emily Blaney is a water science professional with a strong background in flood risk management and water advisory services. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at WSP since July 2024, Emily has previously held the positions of Senior Water Scientist and Water Scientist at Arup from April 2023 to July 2024, and Graduate Water Scientist at Royal HaskoningDHV from January 2018 to September 2019. Emily's involvement in various projects includes preparing Flood Risk Assessments in accordance with NPPF guidance and working on toxic algae research during a research internship at Cawthron Institute in New Zealand. Emily holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master of Science in River Environments and their Management from the University of Birmingham.
