Henry Shanks

Henry Shanks has extensive experience in fare collection systems and project management, currently serving as Vice President of Fare Collection Systems at WSP since October 2023. Previously, Shanks held the position of Project Technical Lead and Solution Architect at Cubic Transportation Systems, leading a $500 million rail and bus fare collection project. Other notable roles include System Engineering Program Manager at Hyperloop-One, IT Lead/Enterprise Architect at Tapestry Solutions, and Solution Architect at Orange, where significant contributions included designing contract requirements for Qatar Rail’s ecommerce and ticketing system. Additionally, Shanks has managed operational improvement projects at NTT Com Security and led consulting teams in intermodal transport at Egis. Eduactively, Shanks earned both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Manchester.
