John Kamel

John Kamel is an experienced Electrical Designer currently working at WSP since May 2023, where responsibilities include creating and modifying electrical engineering layouts and coordinating site visits for ATMS equipment installations. Previously, John worked at Hydro One from May 2021 to August 2022 in co-op positions focused on managing and designing electrical stations, ensuring compliance with IEEE and IESO standards, and facilitating interdepartmental communications for electrical component installations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teacher Assistant at Top Olympiads Center, where organization and teamwork were key in supporting students' learning. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ryerson University, completed in 2022, along with a High School Diploma from St. Joan of Arc Secondary School, awarded in 2018.
