Jolyon Thompson

Jolyon Thompson serves as an Associate Tunnel Ventilation Engineer and Deputy Technical Discipline Lead at WSP since May 2017, overseeing technical management and strategy development for the Tunnel Ventilation team in the UK while leading knowledge-sharing initiatives. Prior to this role, Jolyon was a Professional Associate and Senior Tunnel Ventilation Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff, contributing to tunnel ventilation analysis for the HS2 project. Earlier experience includes a KTP Associate position at London South Bank University, focusing on thermal comfort and energy efficiency in underground railways. Jolyon holds an MBA in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering from London South Bank University, as well as an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College.
