Laura Jones, PEng, is a Senior Environmental Engineer at WSP, where since June 2022, responsibilities include serving as Project Manager and Ontario PFAS Champion, focusing on Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation Projects with an emphasis on high resolution site characterization and PFAS contaminant transport. Prior to WSP, Laura accumulated extensive experience as an Environmental Engineer at Golder Associates from April 2007 to June 2023, managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, and remediation projects. Laura's career began as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where foundational skills were developed. Academic qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
