Lee Burton is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering, with extensive experience in both military and civilian sectors. From October 1987 to August 2013, Lee served as a Military Engineer in the British Army. Following this, a notable role as Project Manager for the Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Programme was held at Jacobs from October 2017 to March 2021, overseeing multiple workstreams under the RIBA stages methodology. Currently, Lee is a Senior Project Manager at WSP, working on HS2 Phase 1 Main Works since February 2022. Additional experience includes positions such as Technical Director and Project Director for various projects within the Defence Industry, Local Government, and Sizewell C, as well as previous roles at CH2M and the UK Trade & Investment organization.
